James Wolcott: What's not to like?

James Wolcott:

I tried to watch The High and the Mighty recently on TCM as penance for some undisclosed sin and what I remember was how forever it took for the cast to check in at the airline counter, revealing their individual, duly designated quirks in the endless walk up to the desk. The only thing missing was Red Buttons playing a harmonica and hopping on one leg.
Too funny!

P.S. The full piece is rant on what must truly be the near-total uselessness and futility of being Mark Steyn.
