Rethinking Rudy

Best possible endorsement I've seen for Rudy Giuliani....
He's still a loony, in fact, so loony that the biggest loonies on the web think he's ... um, .... too loony.

You know, for all practical purposes, they are all insane. Seriously, the followers are so completely disconnected from the observable reality the rest of us share, it would be best to simply ignore those who seek to lead them as much as possible and just get on with the work of rebuilding the country and our reputation in the rest of the world.
Focusing on that work will create its own politics; compelling to anyone who is relevant to that work.
For those who still can, they can come to their senses and join the effort – or not. They really don’t matter any longer unless we let them. Eventually, even the corporate press will no longer be able to make them seem sane and relevant without appearing mad themselves.

No, it’s really a mindset (so, I guess it depends on what you’re sitting on ;^) Really, Democratic politicians and the press give Republicans and their followers all the relevance they enjoy. On the issues, two-thirds of the country thinks they’re crazy.
What if all Democrats actually reacted to them that way?
