Novak vs. The Cold Hard Facts
Larry Johnson and Joe Wilson give their Response to Robert Novak Column.
TPM Muckraker catch on to Novakula's bamboozlement with Hannity and Colmes. I missed it because I was still picking up pieces of my exploded head from the previous segment.
And, in an effort to provide ponies to every single good little boy and girl who couldn't afford to place their names in Santa's copy of Who's Who, Joe and Valerie Wilson are going to sue Cheney, Libby and Rove!!
Over? This thing just got interesting -- just when I figured out how to block myself from ever accidentally clicking on Faux News again.
Christy has the press release. Game ON!

Pony?
A whole bunch of lawyers just put all their children and grandchildren through college.
P.S. Are there really 10 unnamed defendants in this suit? What's up with that?

Hmm, Novak's original source? Novak, Miller, Russert, Pincus, Cooper? . . . Nyaa. They'd name the reporters and their publishers.
Addington, Armatige? Powell, Tenant? Folks whose connection is classified?
That sounds like Ken Mehlman.
I'm going to buy myself a pony if Elliot Abrams is a defendant. I had it with that mendacious piece of work since Iran/Contra.

Could be Hadley.

Nya, not Hadley or Rice. They're wonks, not hacks. If it came from the Nat'l Security Council it'd be Abrams or his fellow traveling neo-con Negroponte -- but he wasn't nearly in the loop then as now. I'm holding out for Elliot and gonna stock up on sugar cubes, carrots and oats. :)
I wonder what the over/under is on Laura Bush?

"They're wonks, not hacks."
Not that I'd trust him as far as I could throw him (ouch) but Novakula went out of his way to say that the source wasn't a political type. Armitage fitz:

Damn Shep. Your right. But Armitage is fingered as leaker number one (although I have my doubts), not as one of the 10 John Does.
Looking for wonks rules out the neo-cons. Maybe a wonk with a hack-streak? In Novaks demented world, Abrams would look like a professional instead of a meatheaded Machiavelli.
Let's not forget Ari Fleischer. He did his fair share of character assasination too.

Yeah, but Novak also said the guy was someone who didn't give out a lot of interviews. Doesn't sound like Armitage, who loved to yak.
Of course, Novak could be misdirecting too.
It's Hadley. At least that's what one of the women at Firedoglake thinks.
