How to save LOTS of money on groceries

You could follow the Hillbilly Housewife's plan or you could eat Monkey Chow.

Yes, you heard me...Monkey Chow.

Bachelor Chow! Now with flavor!

I've been examining the Hillbilly Housewife's site for the last week, wondering if I should give it a go. I'll tell you one thing, though, food in Canada is way more expensive than the groceries that she lists.

Powdered milk, carrots, onions...how much could that cost??

Well, more than the prices that she lists. For example, she lists a bag of flour as $1.96. I pay about $5 for the same amount. She lists eggs as $0.69 / dozen, while the cheapest I can get them is just less than $2 / dozen.

No Walmarts in Canada?

A few, but they're not much cheaper, are way more aggrevating to shop at, and don't have groceries.
