Blogs I Read
As I've mentioned before, I've been using Google Reader to keep up with the blogs I read. They have a neat feature called "Trends" that tracks my reading habits. Accordingly, here are the blogs from whom I read the greatest number of posts (as of April 23):
- Boing Boing
- Daily Kos
- The Huffington Post
- Crooks and Liars
- Talking Points Memo
- Think Progress
- AMERICAblog
- Digital Inspiration
- Firedoglake
- Internet Marketing Monitor
Now, some blogs do not post anywhere near the volume that these blogs do. Accordingly, the following list is a list of blogs ranked by percentage of new posts that I've read:
- Kung Fu Monkey
- I Help You Blog
- Dispassionate Liberal
- James Wolcott
- The Queen of All Evil
- JoelComm.com
- Digital Inspiration
- Internet Marketing Monitor
- Daily Kos
- Likelihood of Success
Anyway, there you are: a different kind of blogroll -- one that actually presents some meaningful information.
(*gasp*) no Digby (*sigh*)
Yes, well. So many blogs so little time.
Is Digby your favorite?
Which ones do you read the most articles from?
Which ones do you read ALL the articles from?
I hadn't thought of it that way but, yes, I guess Hullabaloo is my "favorite." Digby just gets the big picture on politics and culture and writes about it in such an entertaining way.
At least, with Billmon gone (long live the king).
Otherwise our lists are pretty close (why I was a little surprised about Digby). Although I will change a little depending on what’s happening, Firedoglake is a must when anything on Traitorgate is breaking, TPM is the place on the US Attorney firings.
The looongest articles I read (new category?) are probably Glenn Greenwald’s and Dave Neiwart’s.
And yes, there are bunches that I can never seem to get to (Whiskey Fire, Drift Glass, etc.)
