1. The Pistons have won on the road before and under circumstances as tough (or tougher) than this, i.e., most recently last year in the conference finals against Miami, but...they canNOT expect it to be automatic.
2. When I heard the Cavs were all going to the Hughes funeral, I thought "Uh-oh." That's the kind of thing that bonds a team and gives it a mission.
3. Wade vs. James in the conference finals would be an epic matchup. Not sure who would win. See #2 above.
4. Where have you gone, Chauncy Billups! A city turns its lowered eyes to you.
Lights out now, I tried to fall asleep. I tossed and turned. I kept seeing LeBron James and his Abe Lincoln beard. I kept seeing Zyrdunas Ilgauskas and HIS Abe Lincoln Beard. I kept seeing Anderson Varejao and his Orphan Annie locks.
