Polls: Dem challengers closing the gap on GOP incumbents

Connecticut: Lamont and Lieberman (yes, he's a Republican), neck and neck.
Virginia: Webb and Allen, neck and neck.
Tennessee: Surprise! -- Ford and Corker, neck and neck.
Very telling tidbit from Josh Marshall.
The GOP spent almost half a mill on a late July poll. we're seeing Dem and independent polls, and not a squeak from the GOP. Their internal polls must be down right dismal.
